Who am I
I am Alissa, and I am a Senior DevOps Engineer, and Senior System Engineer and IT Consultant. I got a Master’s degree in Computer Science, 10 years of experience in software hosting and 4 years of experience doing IT consulting. You can find more details at LinkedIn.
What I Offer
My services are about consulting and supporting small to medium-sized organizations with building up and operating their IT infrastructures. This ranges from hosting simple websites or software to designing a self-hosted cloud infrastructure.
I aim to find elegant and secure solutions, which fulfill their requirements as good as possible. “elegant” means that I try to keep complexity low so that it is easy to understand and maintain the infrastructure. I use Infrastructure as Code principles where possible, and include IT security considerations in every decision.
While I usually carry out projects with my customers, I can also “just” consult you, for example to get a perspective on offers from other service providers or on your own projects.
How I Work
I try to keep my work on eye level and let my customers understand the decisions I make while designing the systems. At the same time, I understand my role as an expert discussing your requirements and ideas, and thus I will suggest changes or alternatives when these would be better.
On request, I will onboard other people onto the infrastructure, so that they can take care of the systems to the degree they feel comfortable with.
As a freelancer, I cannot guarantee 24/7 availability or support. However, we can arrange for me to work outside of normal office hours when required, even spontaneously.
